After interviewing my grandpa and discovering that a person I've known my whole life has a story filled with shocking determination and struggle, I realized stories were the key to connection and compassion. I coupled this realization with my passion for advocating for people who can't speak up for themselves and SOSAS was founded. Since then, it's grown from just an idea to an initiative with community partners and an online launch planned. From the online launch, SOSAS plans to expand from a few detailed stories to hundreds of community stories.
